(ANSA) – CROPANI, 12 AUGUST – A fire, the causes of which are being investigated, damaged a bathing establishment in Cropani Marina overnight. No hypothesis is excluded on the origins of the stake.
The flames affected part of the veranda, the bar area and the rear room used as a pantry warehouse. Also blackening of the walls due to thick smoke inside the structure.
Fire brigade teams from the Catanzaro command and the Sellia Marina detachment intervened on the spot with the support of a tanker.
The intervention resulted in the complete extinction of the flames and the safety of the site, avoiding the spread of the fire to the entire wooden structure. There was no damage to people or to the supporting structure of the room.
The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Sellia Marina also arrived on the spot and started the investigations to shed light on the incident. (HANDLE).
