(ANSA) – ISCHIA (NAPLES), AUGUST 17 – They landed in Ischia for a short vacation but, when they arrived at the accommodation booked and paid for on a social network, they realized they had been scammed.
So this morning a group of 9 boys went to the island’s police station to report the scam before sadly taking the direction of the house, but the agents helped them find another accommodation.
After having collected the complaint, the policemen have in fact taken steps to find the necessary rooms for the holiday, in a hotel in the hilly area of the municipality of Barano that still had availability in the week of August.
The men of the deputy commissioner Ciro Re also provided the boys with a series of useful tips to avoid falling back into the traps of scammers, warning them against the pitfalls that are hidden in the many online advertisements for booking holiday homes. (HANDLE).
