(ANSA) – PALAZZUOLO SUL SENIO (FLORENCE), 17 AUG – A family of hikers – two adults and two children – got lost in the Upper Mugello Apennines, in Palazzuolo sul Senio (Florence), in a wooded area where was identified and rescued by the fire brigade. In particular, the Drago 124 helicopter from the Arezzo base reached the group that ended up in a very inaccessible area from the sky. Rescuers descended to check the sanitary conditions and prepare the hikers for evacuation from the ground. The family was recovered by winch, boarded on board the aircraft and transported to a contact area where ground crews continued the rescue. The health personnel present confirms the good state of health of the family. (HANDLE).
