(ANSA) – FORNI AVOLTRI, 20 AUG – They made a flight of twenty meters, falling into a ravine and falling with the car upside down and sustaining serious injuries, one person, and remaining practically unharmed, the other. It happened late yesterday evening around 10.45 pm, in Collina di Forni Avoltri (Udine), in Carnia, where the car in which the two people were traveling went off the road. The rescue intervention by the firefighters, who arrived from the detachments of Forni Avoltri, Rigolato and Tolmezzo, together with the soldiers of the Alpine Rescue of the Financial Police, the technicians of the Cnsas Fvg and the health personnel, arrived with an ambulance and a helicopter suitable for night flight.
The operators first lowered the resuscitator into the ravine who stabilized the injured – always remained conscious – then their recovery began: one at a time they were immobilized on the spine board and then loaded on the stretcher with which they were hoisted up to the road. .
Finally, the two were transferred to the hospitals of Tolmezzo and Udine. The person in serious condition was hospitalized, the other was visited for investigations. (HANDLE).
