(ANSA) – SARACENA, AUG 21 – Since last night there has been no news of a 74-year-old who is missing near “Piano di Novacco”, in the municipal area of Saracena.
The alarm was raised by the man’s family members last night at around 8.30 pm at the Pollino station of the Calabria Alpine and Speleological Rescue which was immediately activated.
The searches were concentrated around the area of the Piano di Novacco and continued until late at night and resumed this morning. The initial telephone contact that had been established with the 74-year-old during the research was lost. In addition to the technicians of the Pollino Station, autonomous groups of Civil Protection, Carabinieri and Fire Brigade participate in the research. (HANDLE).
