Farewell to Ivan, a month ago the country transformed into Disneyland

(ANSA) – BARI, AUGUST 23 – Montalbano di Fasano, in the Brindisi area, says goodbye to little Ivan, the “warrior” child who had been fighting a tumor for some time. The family announced it on social media.

A month ago, after the appeal of the mother, dozens of volunteer associations transformed Montalbano into a small Disneyland.

It was, in fact, the dream of Ivan, seven years old, to go to Eurodisneyland, he was all ready for the trip but then the worsening of the disease prevented him and his family from leaving. So, knowing that there was not much time left, Ivan’s mother launched an appeal to grant her child’s wish. Unexpectedly, dozens of associations from all over Italy and also from abroad came forward and on 3 July, within a few days the square of Montalbano was transformed into Disneyland with over 150 participants. The associations of volunteers and extras have mobilized again this morning to be at the funeral again tomorrow with Ivan. (HANDLE).
