(ANSA) – TRIESTE, AUGUST 27 – Intense traffic today along the motorway network managed by Autovie Venete due to the returns and new departures of vacationers. During the morning, the Concessionaire informs, there were queues in and out of the square of the Latisana toll booth, for the replacement of tourists heading to the seaside resorts of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto.
As far as the Lisert barrier is concerned, at 3 pm a queue of 2 km was detected in the direction of Venice – therefore returning from Slovenia and Croatia -, 1 km instead in the direction of Trieste.
Traffic on the network was concentrated above all on the carriageway towards Venice, “but without particular critical issues”, underlines Autovie Venete. In the afternoon there are 3 km of queues between Latisana and the A4 / A28 junction in the construction site for the construction of the third lane, while during the day there were some queues, always in correspondence with the works.
At the moment, the transits today entering the Autovie Venete toll booths have been 71 thousand, of which 15 thousand in Lisert and 8 thousand in Latisana: an increase of 6% compared to last weekend. On the other hand, there were about 64,000 outbound transits, of which 10,000 to Lisert and 11,000 to Latisana, in line with the data collected last Saturday.
For today Autovie Venete had expected traffic from “black sticker”, for tomorrow from “red sticker”. (HANDLE).
