(ANSA) – LECCO, AUGUST 28 – An 80-year-old hiker from Lecco was found dead today along path no. 5, from Piani di Erna to Passo del Fò, on the slopes of Mount Resegone.
The body was identified near the crossing of the Comera canal, under the locality of Bedoletta, a few meters before the junction with path n.1. The Alpine Rescue of Lecco intervened for the recovery with the help of a helicopter.
Volunteers in action also for the research of an 83-year-old woman from Lecco. She had left the house this morning for a walk but after a few hours her family got worried and raised the alarm. Eventually the woman was found, in good condition, in the hilly area of Neguggio.
Intervention also in Pescate, on the outskirts of Lecco. A 75-year-old man found himself in difficulty along the path below the locality of San Michele. The rescuers reached him on foot and took him downstream with the stretcher. (HANDLE).
