If Russia does not stop its aggression against Ukraine, then it is possible that in the near future Ukrainian missiles will be aimed at Moscow.

Oleksiy Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, speaker of the Ukrainian side in the Trilateral Contact Group, said this on the air of the Dom TV channel.

According to him, Ukraine has not yet joined NATO, and the forces of the Alliance are already present in our country – so far, only within the framework of training missions, joint exercises are being conducted. He explained that Russia itself is to blame for such an active advancement of NATO in Ukraine, which attacked us in 2014.

“By its actions, the Kremlin got that NATO approach to the borders of Russia, which they are so afraid of. But the Kremlin does not understand the main thing: only Ukraine will join NATO, every Ukrainian soldier will become a NATO soldier, and this is a completely different story.”, – said Arestovich.

He also commented on Putin’s statements that, they say, NATO bases will be built in Ukraine under the guise of training centers and missiles will be aimed at Moscow.

“Putin will play to the point that Ukrainian missiles will be directed at Moscow in the near future for one simple reason that we are working on a missile program. And our tactical-level missiles will be able to reach Moscow. These are parity actions in response to Russia’s actions. If if there was no such aggression, Ukrainian missiles would never be directed at Moscow “, – said the adviser to Ermak.

Putin is hysterical from NATO in Ukraine

The other day the Russian president said that NATO’s military presence in Ukraine poses a real threat to his country. According to him, the Ukrainian Constitution prohibits the deployment of foreign military bases on the territory of the country, but allegedly NATO “can place anything” under the guise of training centers for the Armed Forces.

“Tomorrow, missiles will appear near Kharkov, what should we do with this? … Here in Romania, Poland, they have installed missile defense (anti-missile defense) systems, but with launchers on which Tomahawks can be placed – strike systems. And this can be done easily, at the click of a button. “, – he said.

Russia is afraid of Ukraine joining NATO

  • These are far from the first tantrums of the Kremlin over the possible membership of Ukraine in the Alliance. For example, on June 30, Putin talked about why he is afraid of Ukraine’s joining NATO. He cited the example of missiles that may end up on Ukrainian territory, aimed at Moscow.
  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Putin’s words about NATO. According to him, the topic of Ukraine’s integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic communities worries Russians very much.
  • And recently, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin put Russia in its place over Ukraine in NATO. He stated that Moscow has no veto on this issue.
  • Threats erupted from Putin, they say, they will immediately take measures if Ukraine is included in NATO.
