Landslide in Ischia: two victims recovered, even a little girl. A state of emergency has been established

The little victim was wearing pink pajamas. Her body was found in a bedroom, under a mattress, of a house overwhelmed by the landslide.

“The Council of Ministers, on a proposal from the Minister for Civil Protection, declared the state of emergency which will be followed by the order of the head of civil protection, and has arranged an initial allocation of 2 million euros”. This was announced by the Minister for the South, Nello Musumeci who has the delegation for Protection at the end of the Council of Ministers on Ischia. To the first allocation of 2 million euros, Minister Musumeci added that “other allocations will follow as soon as we have an overview of the damage and immediate needs.
