Former President of Georgia on hunger strike in a Georgian prison, head of the Executive Committee of Ukraine’s Reforms Mikhail Saakashvili refuses to be transferred to a prison hospital. He wrote a new letter with an ultimatum, which was voiced by the politician’s lawyer Nick Gvaramia.

This is reported by Georgia Online.

“Whatever the state of my health, I refuse to be transferred to the hospital at the Gldani prison and prefer to stay where I am until this situation is completed either by my death or my release. In any case, I refuse from my transfer to the Gldani prison “– Saakashvili’s letter says.

Gvaramia claims that Saakashvili is weak, “he hardly wakes up in the morning, he has weakness in the limbs, joints, and problems with movement.”

“Saakashvili needed reanimation twice, and we said several times that every minute is dangerous. There are peaks, failures, and suddenly it gets worse. Nevertheless, I can tell you directly that political prisoner Mikhail Saakashvili will not die.”– said the lawyer.

In addition, according to Gvaramia, Saakashvili urged everyone to come to the polling stations and greeted the mayoral candidates.

“He really likes it and is happy that political parties that were unacceptable to him in the past were able to consolidate. He is grateful for that.”, – said the defender of the politician.
