The young man, whose conditions immediately appeared desperate, was in a square in Alatri when he was flanked by a scooter with two misrepresented aboard who shot him and fled. The ambush took place in Largo Cittadini, in the center of Alatri, around 8 pm. According to some witnesses, the attack took place at the height of a brawl. Thomas Bricca was on the street when he was flanked by the scooter and without him being able to react he was hit by a gunshot to the head. The two attackers then fled. The investigations are entrusted to the carabinieri who are currently engaged in a manhunt. Friends and acquaintances are being listened to of Thomas and witnesses to outline dynamics and ascertain the reasons for a possible settling of accounts or revenge.
The carabinieri are also listening to some witnesses to try to outline the context in which the ambush took place. According to what is learned, the investigations would be oriented towards a group of young people who are already in the previous evenings he had been the protagonist of some brawls in the center of Frosinone. The motive probably a revenge or a settling of accounts perhaps for the control of the square. Alatri in 2017 was the scene of a tragic news story in which Emanuele Morganti lost his life, kicked and punched by a bunch of bullies. Emanuele, 21, was in a bar with his girlfriend when a fight broke out with some young people who had praised the girl. The attack broke out and the bouncer escorted everyone out of the room where Emanuele was surrounded and massacred.
