(ANSA) – CATANZARO, 30 OCT – Two new deaths, bringing the total to 1,449; one more hospitalization in intensive care (overall figure 5) and two in the care wards (97); 167 new infected, less than yesterday, when there were 197 (total 87,372). The positivity rate drops from 5.2% to 3.84. An additional 4,350 swabs were performed (total 1,296,493). The active cases are, overall, 3,086 (+89), the isolates at home 2,984 (+86) and the newly recovered 82,837 (+76). These are the daily data regarding the Covid-19 epidemic communicated to the Region by the prevention departments of the provincial health authorities of Calabria.
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, the positive cases are thus distributed.
– Catanzaro: 100 active cases (7 in ward, 2 in intensive care, 91 in home isolation); 11,484 cases closed (11,327 recovered, 157 deceased).
– Cosenza: 1,207 active cases (30 in ward, 0 in intensive care, 1,177 in home isolation); cases closed 26,967 (26,311 recovered, 656 deceased).
– Crotone: 239 active cases (11 in the ward, 0 in intensive care, 228 in home isolation); cases closed 8,365 (8,250 recovered, 115 deaths).
– Reggio Calabria: 936 active cases (43 in the ward, 3 in intensive care, 890 in home isolation); 29,761 cases closed (29,352 recovered, 409 deceased).
– Vibo Valentia: 442 active cases (6 in the ward, 0 in intensive care, 436 in home isolation); 6,478 cases closed (6,375 recovered, 103 deceased). (HANDLE).
