(ANSA) – CALENZANO (FLORENCE), 01 NOV – The prosecutor of Prato investigates the mayor of the Municipality of Calenzano (Florence), Riccardo Prestini, and two municipal technicians from the public works office for the death of a passerby killed by the collapse of the wall of fencing of a villa on 5 October, in via Dietropoggio. This was announced by the municipality itself, explaining that now “measures by the public prosecutor have been notified to the mayor and to two municipal technicians” who have received their respective warranties. The owner had already been investigated after the fact. The collapse of the wall was sudden. The killed passer-by, Federica Pastacaldi, 49, was walking on the public road when she was overwhelmed by stones and debris from a portion of the wall, two and a half meters high and came down a front of about 60 meters. The wall was seized and the prosecutor started investigations. In recent days there have been inspections by technical consultants of the prosecutor. (HANDLE).
