(ANSA) – BOLZANO, 03 NOV – Strong leap forward in infections from Sars-Cov-2 and another death: the epidemiological situation in South Tyrol is significantly worsening. In the last 24 hours, the laboratories of the provincial health authority have ascertained 196 new positive cases based on 1,334 PCR swabs (368 of which new tests). In addition, 9,683 antigen tests were carried out.
The new death from Covid-19 brings the total to 1,205 since the beginning of the health emergency. There is still a slight increase in hospitalizations: there are 62, two more than yesterday, 3 of which (one less) are assisted in intensive care and 59 (3 more) in normal hospital wards. Another 4 patients are in isolation in the Colle Isarco and Sarnes facilities.
The people in quarantine or in home isolation are 3,382 (133 more), while those declared recovered in the last 24 hours are 107, for a total of 78,753. (HANDLE).
