(ANSA) – CATANZARO, 03 NOV – The Anti-Mafia Investigation Department has executed a seizure decree for a total of one million euros in movable and immovable property, issued by the Court of Bologna, against an accountant of Crotone origin but resident in Emilia Romagna, arrested and sentenced with final judgment as part of the “Aemilia” operation.
The provision was arranged on a joint proposal signed by the Public Prosecutor of Bologna and the Director of Dia following the outcome of patrimonial investigations.
The professional was found to be burdened by a judgment of social dangerousness as he was considered “permanently available to an association of ‘Ndrangheta operating in Emilia”.
The Dia also reconstructed, starting from 2007, how much the entire assets of the accountant amounted to, finding a significant disproportion between the identified assets and the declared income and hypothesizing, therefore, his illicit enrichment.
The seizure concerns financial relationships directly or indirectly attributable to man, company shares and company compendia and 9 properties including buildings and land, for a total value of over € 1 million. (HANDLE).
