(ANSA) – MILAN, 05 NOV – “Five Extinction Rebellion activists were denounced for sitting in silence in the main hall of the Milan office of the Sole 24 Ore. The activists had brought a request for help to the editorial staff to tell the truth on the climate crisis “. This was denounced in a note by the environmental activist group that animated the recent demonstrations in Milan on the occasion of the preparatory meetings for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (preCop26).
“Several Extinction Rebellion activists – reads a note – simultaneously occupied the halls of the most important Italian televisions, newspapers and radios (…). The message was carried directly to the halls of the offices of Sky, La Repubblica, La Press, RCS, Corriere della Sera, Il sole 24 ore, Il Fatto Quotidiano, Open, Libero, Virgin Radio, Radio 101, Radio 105 and Radio Montecarlo.
Unlike the responses received by all the other editorial offices occupied, in the IlSole24Ore headquarters, shortly after sitting in the main hall, the activists were yanked and dragged out of weight by the police, who subsequently filed five complaints for ‘Invasion of land or offices’ “. (ANSA).
