(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 05 NOV – Nurses protest against the blocking of recruitment in Florence in front of the regional council headquarters, in Piazza Duomo. The initiative was promoted by the independent trade union Nursind and then, at the end, the same Region promised a technical table to establish the road map for the recruitment of personnel in the Tuscan health system by the end of 2021. The commitment was made by Region to the Nursind who made it known.
A trade union delegation was received by the president Eugenio Giani. “A sign of openness – declares Giampaolo Giannoni, Nursind Toscana regional coordinator – that we hope will start a real dialogue”. In fact, the health authorities, Nursind says, have applied to hire other nurses for an indefinite period, “but the Region has not yet authorized the recruitments or has done so only partially”.
