(ANSA) – MILAN, 05 NOV – Two robberies in the center of Milan using an electric stunner as a weapon. This is the accusation with which 3 Italians (an 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds) and a 19-year-old Ivorian were arrested by the police. At one o’clock on Friday night the agents intervened in Piazza Gae Aulenti after the call for help from a 33-year-old who had been attacked, while he was in the company of other friends, by the group with his face covered by bandata and hood. According to the police, the robbers intimidated them by operating the taser with a blank jolt. The threat should have convinced them to hand over the jacket but the 33-year-old reacted by starting a fight that ended with the attackers fleeing.
The 4 were stopped shortly after by agents who saw them escape. While identifying them, the policemen were approached by a 19-year-old who had handed over his cell phone a few minutes earlier after being hit 5 times with the stunner. In confirmation of his story, the smartphone was found in the pockets of one of the arrested.
