The weather in June 2023 promises to be hot. Forecasters predict that the average temperature in the first month of summer will be above normal.
This was reported by Ukrgidromettsentr. According to his forecast, rainfall in June is expected to be within the normal range.
Thus, the average temperature for the month is expected to be +18…+23, and in the mountains +15…+19. Such indicators are 1-1.5 degrees higher than normal.
According to long-term climatic observations, the average air temperature in June is +17…+22°, in the mountains +11…+18.
The absolute minimum temperature in the first month of summer will be 0…+9, in places in mountainous areas, northern, northeastern, southeastern, northwestern regions 0…-3, in the highlands of the Carpathians – up to 5 frost.
The absolute maximum will be +32…+38.5, in the southern and eastern regions +39…+39.8 in some places, and +25…+33 in the Carpathians and Crimean mountains.
According to weather forecasts, moderate rains will take place in June, their monthly amount will be 49-90 mm, in the Carpathians and Prykarpattya 117-171 mm, which is within the normal range.
In Kyiv in June Warm and comfortable weather is expected. The daytime temperature will fluctuate within +20…+26 degrees, only at the end of the month the capital will be visited by heat, which will raise the thermometers to +28…+29. Precipitation will be moderate, with a total of 15 days expected in the capital in June.
Odessa in June Mostly dry and sunny weather is expected. By the middle of the month the daily temperature will fluctuate within +21…+24. And from the 16th it will rise to +26…+30. Significant precipitation in Odessa in the first month of summer is not expected. Only in the middle of June there will be moderate rains. It will rain for five days in a row – from 17 to 21 June.
June in Dnipro will begin with a few rainy days, and a total of 14 is expected. Precipitation will be moderate. The air temperature will be comfortable – from +20 to +24. Only at the end of the month, the thermometers will creep up and, starting from June 24, they will rise higher and higher, reaching +30 on the 30th.
June in Lviv it will be quite rainy, precipitation will be frequent – intervals between them are 1-2 days, thunderstorms are expected. The daytime temperature is +21…+23, however, there will be cooler days when the thermometers drop to +16…+18. At the end of the month it will clear up, and July in Lviv will begin with sunny and even hot weather.
In Kharkov in June the air temperature will change smoothly, rising from +19 at the beginning of the month to +29…+30 in the last days. Showers will be moderate, although quite frequent.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, the first month of summer in Ukraine will be quite warm, but one should not expect abnormal heat in June.
