If you want to grow healthy and lush houseplants, here are a few hacks to try. Simple natural ingredients can even extend the flowering period.
The first and most effective ingredient is apple cider vinegar. Some social media users note that you can use a regular canteen, but it’s still better to prefer an apple one.
Add a few drops (optimally 3-5, but not more than 10) of apple cider vinegar to the water for irrigation and water the roots of indoor plants.
Lemon juice can also be used as an effective substitute. The procedure is similar: a few drops per standard dose of water when watering.
However, please note that these hacks can only be used if the plants are tolerant of acidic soil and do not require conditions with an exclusively neutral pH. For fastidious flowers, you can simply take the cooled boiled water.
By the way, spring and early summer is an ideal period for transplanting indoor plants. It is very simple to do this: you just need to remove the old soil, spread the roots on a hill of fresh earth and add soil from above. How to feed indoor flowers during transplantation – read the material.
