A request for an immediate trial is looming, when the investigations are concluded, for Alessandro Impagnatiello accused of the murder of Giulia Tramontano, stabbed on May 27 in the couple’s house in Senago. When it has gathered all the elements, the Public Prosecutor’s Office will be able to dispute again in the request for immediate, on which the investigating judge will have to express himself (with this rite the preliminary hearing is skipped), the aggravating circumstance of premeditation, excluded in the custody order.
The deadline for requesting immediate relief is 6 months from the precautionary measure. In addition to the online searches closest to the time of the murder, which took place on the evening of Saturday 27 May, in the investigations conducted by the carabinieri and coordinated by the deputy Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo it was ascertained that the 30-year-old barman a few days earlier, 5 or 6 days earlier, according to reports, he would have searched the web for “human rat poison” and a package of rodenticide was seized yesterday in the house. Not only, therefore, that “burnt ceramic bathtub” search carried out a few minutes before Giulia returned home. Elements on the basis of which the investigators are increasingly convinced of premeditation, an aggravating circumstance that will be challenged in the probable request for immediate trial, when the investigations are concluded. Even the aggravating circumstance of cruelty had fallen into the precautionary measure of the investigating judge and could be re-proposed.
The case of the murder of Giulia Tramontano, however, according to what was reported in the prosecutor’s office, “is closed”. Even if there are no aspects of aiding and abetting that need to be explored which, in any case, could be difficult to contest with family members, since a cause of non-punishment is envisaged in these cases. It is different if profiles of complicity in the concealment of the body should emerge, another crime contested against Impagnatiello. A witness, however, would have heard noises such as a body slamming on the steps leading up to the garage. This element would exclude the help of another person to lift the body. In any case, at the moment from the surveys carried out yesterday in the house, including the garage and cellar, confirmations have been found of the versions provided in the two confessions by the 30-year-old (the murder took place in the living room), including the fact that the tub, where the man would have tried to set fire to the body, it was found burned in various places. This is an important element in relation to the aggravating circumstance of premeditation, given previous research. It remains to be verified, even with entomological analyses, when the body was placed outside. The body was found near the pits in via Monte Rosa.
The house
The house in Senago, in the Milanese area, was perfectly in order and cleaned up, so much so that the many traces found yesterday during the inspection were identified thanks to luminol. It was reported that those who were on site were struck by the great attention with which everything had been cleaned and by the order defined as “obsessive”. This has led to believe Impagnatiello a person, it has been reported by qualified sources, who would have “obsessive compulsive” behaviors. To demonstrate how the house has been perfectly arranged is the shelf of the piece of furniture in which the oven is built into which the knife block was found, among which there would also be the one used to kill Giulia. Packs of medicines lined up one after the other and the knife holder with the knives placed in gradations according to the length of the blade, together with a pair of scissors and a potato peeler leaning on the top and stacked straw American services. Even in the apartment there was nothing untidy: on the walls a few pictures, including a picture of Giulia and Alessandro, on a shelf a series of carefully arranged photos.
The traces of blood
There was so much blood on the landing of Impagnatiello’s home that the forensics thought it was a “false positive” of luminol. To say it are the investigators. In fact, during the surveys, many traces of blood emerged that were impossible to perceive with the naked eye, to the point of hypothesizing a technical error. Hypothesis then denied by subsequent cross-tests on other areas of the condominium. Even the house was “clean” to the naked eye without the luminol. The only visible stain was the burnt halo in the bathtub where, according to the reconstruction, the man would have attempted to set fire to his partner’s body for the first time. During the search that took place yesterday, the carabinieri found the metal block with all the kitchen knives resting on the shelf of a piece of furniture in which the oven is built.
