(ANSA) – MILAN, 09 NOV – They hoped that “that aperitif would end as soon as possible”, because they had “noticed that Confalonieri was very strange”, the two spouses who were victims, last October 2, of Omar Confalonieri, the real estate agent 48-year-old with an office in via Montenapoleone in Milan ended up in prison for having stunned the couple with benzodiazepine-based drugs, which he secretly dissolved in drinks, for having kidnapped them for hours in their home and for abusing the woman.
As emerges from the minutes contained in the order of the investigating magistrate Pepe issued at the request of the adjunct Mannella and the prosecutor Menegazzo, the two were suspected, precisely during that aperitif in a bar near their house and during which they would have had to discuss a purchase of a box, that Confalonieri was behaving strangely. “There was absolutely no mention of the real estate issue, which was the basis of our meeting – explained the woman to the investigators – we did not open the topic because we had noticed that Confalonieri was very strange and therefore we were very uncomfortable, hoping that that aperitif ended as soon as possible “.
The 48-year-old, however, had already managed, as documented also by the images of the surveillance cameras of the restaurant, to inject the drug into the two cocktails with a syringe, going to get the drinks directly at the counter, while the managers complained about this behavior. . And the couple was already experiencing the first powerful effects of the drug. From the documents of the investigation by the carabinieri it also appears that, after the abuses suffered at home, the woman was also brought to her home by Confalonieri. The victim remembers “having entered the man’s house, but was unable to report what had happened”. In the meantime, he points to another suspicious case in Bergamo which involved a girl who was drugged and raped. The proceedings, which were however filed, were asked today by the Milanese prosecutor from his colleagues from Bergamo. (HANDLE).
