(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 11 NOV – “The refinancing of citizenship income does not only have the effect of committing huge resources to a welfare choice, subtracting them from active policies capable of stimulating the resumption of work and the raising of employment levels, but it further exposes the country-system to millionaire scams by criminal organizations to the detriment of public accounts. ” This was underlined by the governors of the Lega Massimiliano Fedriga (Friuli Venezia Giulia), Attilio Fontana (Lombardy), Maurizio Fugatti (Autonomous Province of Trento), Christian Solinas (Sardinia), Donatella Tesei (Umbria) and Luca Zaia (Veneto).
The Governors intervened to comment on the maxi-scam of 20 million perpetrated by Romanian and Italian criminals through Tax Assistance Centers authorized to file requests for subsidies.
“In the light of this last episode too – conclude the governors – we can only underline our opposition to a measure that we consider socially inequitable and structurally fragile, to the point of placing itself, both from a philosophical and a practical point of view, as a perfect antithesis to the lines of development promoted through the Pnrr. ” (HANDLE).
