Monza, students in skirts:

(ANSA) – FLORENCE, NOV 11 – Two 24-year-olds from Morocco were arrested by the police as suspects of a crime on charges of being the perpetrators of the attempted robbery of a 28-year-old passer-by in Florence on the night between 8 and 9 November in via Nazionale, near the Santa Maria Novella station. In the episode the passer-by was wounded in the face with a knife. According to what was reconstructed, the two criminals stopped him with the excuse of asking him for a cigarette and then tried to take his wallet out of his pocket. Then, the 28-year-old reacted to defend himself but one of the two hit him in the face with a knife with which he was circulating around the city. They both fled but empty-handed. The two arrested are accused of facial deformation through injuries inflicted with a knife and attempted robbery. The two were stopped by the mobile squad in via Corridoni, in Rifredi.

The hypothesis is that they were about to flee from Florence. In their home, two suitcases were found ready, with clothes and personal effects. Also seized the same clothes they would have worn at the time of the attempted robbery and the knife, with a black handle and curved blade, used to scar the 28-year-old passer-by who reacted to the assault in the street to defend his wallet.
