Around 3.30 pm the boat was found, wedged between the rows of mythiculture south-west of the Duino Castle. On board was the body of the Conegliano yachtsman, who was stuck on board. The boat got stuck in a vertical position at half height with respect to the seabed and was identified by the Fire Brigade thanks to the sonar. The Coast Guard and the Guardia di Finanza also participated in the research. Father and son left Caorle (Venice) on Monday morning on a boat of about 8 meters for Monfalcone (Gorizia). To alert the rescue, around 13, was a shipyard in Monfalcone, which had received an excited phone call from a yachtsman bound for the shipyard, who claimed to be in an emergency situation because the boat was sinking.

Shortly thereafter, his father’s body was found. The searches continued until today when the Fire Brigade, also present with their own diving team and with the helicopter stationed in Venice, found the boat and the body of the other passenger, son of the first victim. The body of the Conegliano yachtsman is available to the judicial authority for the investigation of the case. (HANDLE).
