Agricultural Consortia of Italy opens its Academy, in the classroom 20 young people

Twenty young people to be selected and trained in the Academy of Agricultural Consortia of Italy to support Italian farms in their daily activities.

This is the new initiative of Cai – Consorzi Agrari d’Italia, strategic hub of Italian agriculture for the supply of services, vehicles and agricultural products, which has started the selection of 20 trainees to be included in CAI LAB, the company school for development of the technical and commercial network.

By 22 November 2021, by sending an email to bandocailab@consorziagrariditalia.it, people with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, zootechnics or related disciplines, who have a good knowledge of agricultural production and crops, will be able to apply to enter in the training school.

During the course, training will be guaranteed in defense and nutrition of crops, commercial technical seeds, nutrition and animal welfare, plant engineering and irrigation, agriculture 4.0.

Each participant will be guaranteed a participation fee of 700 euros net per month for the 6-month duration of the course, in addition to covering expenses during the orientation-training periods outside the chosen location during the interview. “Italian agriculture needs high specialization to face and win the challenges of the future in the name of innovation and sustainability – explains the CEO of Cai Gianluca Lelli -. Through this path we aim to train young technicians able to support Italian farms to increase their competitiveness and productivity by reducing management costs “. To date, Cai seems to be made up of: Bf spa, Consorzio dell’Emilia, Consorzio del Tirreno, Central South Consortium and Adriatic Consortium. The project is based on a network that produces over 407 million in annual revenues and has more than 11 thousand members acting as a real hub for the placement of large productions.
