(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, NOV 14 – Railway traffic suspended between Porretta, in the Bolognese area, and Pistoia due to the fall of landslide material on the line that connects the two towns. The landslide – presumably linked to the rain that fell on the area – was recorded in the night shortly after the Porretta station: the operations room of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana immediately sent a technical team to the site. Surveys are underway to define the methods and times for restoring the circulation that has been suspended from the beginning of the service, that is, from the first morning starting at 6. During the night there are no trains running on the line.
Trenitalia has set up a bus service between Porretta and Pracchia, a mountain hamlet in the municipality of Pistoia.
Regular service between Bologna and Porretta. (HANDLE).
