(ANSA) – GENOA, NOV 14 – Arpal has extended the Yellow alert (the lowest) for thunderstorms in Liguria until 18 this afternoon in the eastern center. Subsequently, a low probability of strong phenomena will remain throughout the region. Widespread and persistent rains are expected with instability in the eastern center. After a temporary attenuation, we will have a subsequent resumption of widespread rainfall, particularly on the Ponente from today evening and at least until tomorrow morning, Monday 15 November. In the last few hours the phenomena have been concentrated on the Levante center with up to moderate intensity (24.2 mm in an hour in Portovenere) while, in the last 12 hours, the 39.2 mm of Rapallo and the 38.8 of Santa Margherita Vara (Carro, La Spezia ). Currently weak rainfall affects the area of Genoa.
Yesterday a storm hit Genoa causing flooding in many areas, landslides and a landslide that invaded the road just before the arrival of a bus.
