(ANSA) – MILAN, NOVEMBER 17 – Fabrizio Corona, who was accused of having defamed the blogger, journalist and well-known TV face Selvaggia Lucarelli, was acquitted by the Court of Milan, “because the fact does not constitute a crime”. This was decided by the judge of the seventh criminal law Daniela Clemente, accepting the request of the lawyer Ivano Chiesa and the same honorary deputy prosecutor who represented the accusation.

The former photographic agent had ended up on trial for a series of statements he made when he was a guest on Massimo Giletti’s ‘Non è arenena’ show in 2018 and also for two posts published on Instagram. According to the accusation dropped today with the verdict, Corona would have offended the reputation of the journalist when on TV he said, among other things: “I think he has fury and frustration against me and also a bit of jealousy because I have never been there. . Because he has been wanting my body for years and years and I don’t give it to him. ” On Instagram she still said: “She’s obsessed with me”. Expressions that, according to the deputy prosecutor himself, fall within the right of “criticism”.

Corona was present in the courtroom, together with his new girlfriend, and he also made statements before the sentence talking about an “attack against me” by Lucarelli.
