(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 22 – A minimal depression currently centered on Sardinia will move – over the next few hours – towards the Tyrrhenian Sea causing a phase of bad weather on the peninsular regions, in particular on the central Tyrrhenian coastal areas and on the middle Adriatic. On the basis of the forecasts available, the Civil Protection Department has issued a further warning of adverse weather conditions which foresees the persistence of precipitation, also of a reverse or thunderstorm, on Molise and on the coastal sectors from today evening, Monday 22 November. and of the first hinterland of Campania and central-southern Lazio. Precipitation is also expected, even with a downpour or thunderstorm, on Abruzzo. The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity and local strong gusts of wind.
On the basis of the expected and ongoing phenomena, a yellow alert was assessed for tomorrow, Tuesday 23 November, on Abruzzo and Molise and on sectors of Lazio, Campania and Sicily.
