Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov believes that the Kremlin has not yet made a decision on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

He said this on the air of the “Freedom of speech” program on the ICTV channel.

“They have readiness (of Russia for an invasion), but I leave positive hope that no decision has taken place in the Kremlin for this invasion, although they potentially have such an opportunity,” he said.

Reznikov also explained what the military activity of Russia is connected with near the borders of Ukraine.

“The activity on the part of the Russian Federation is aimed at several things: destabilization within Ukraine, destabilization within the NATO countries and destabilization within the countries of the European Union. In such a destabilization they will look for a pragmatic positive,” the Minister of Defense said.

Russian attack threat

  • Both the West and Ukraine are actively discussing a possible Russian attack on Ukraine. For example, Bloomberg, citing a well-informed source close to Western intelligence, writes that Putin is going to attack Ukraine early next year, and even three directions have already been identified from which Russia will strike.
  • The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, also announced plans for an attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine and even named possible dates.
  • In the meantime, Servant of the People told what the allies of Ukraine had proposed in case of an attack by Putin. It is noted that no one will fight for our country, but the West promises help.
