Today’s precautionary measures, ordered by the investigating judge of Pavia “represent the final result of a complex investigation, launched about two years ago, carried out by the Compagnia Carabinieri di Stradella and the Fiamme Gialle of the Compagnia di Voghera, with the support of the Carabinieri Group Forestry Department of Pavia and the Central Inspectorate for the protection of Quality and Fraud Repressions of agri-food products which made it possible to carry out the current preventive seizure of 8 properties and numerous current accounts and additional financial resources for a total value of over 700,000 euros, against three subjects under various investigations for crimes of criminal association aimed at commercial fraud and counterfeiting of geographical indications or designations of origin of agri-food products “.
