(ANSA) – MONZA, 25 NOV – Sixty-five people, including one convicted of mafia, have been denounced by the Guardia di Finanza for having unduly received citizenship income, for a total of about 350 thousand euros. The investigations into the Brianza yellow flames started with a check against fraud, in collaboration with the INPS.
Of the 65 reported, all resident in the province of Monza (in particular between Seveso and Seregno), of which six foreigners, 35% were affected by a personal precautionary measure and, alternatively, definitively convicted of a serious crime, in ten years prior to the application, and therefore not eligible to apply for the subsidy. Among them was a Monza citizen who received a contribution of 8 thousand euros, despite having been convicted also of mafia-type association, in the context of a proceeding against an organization linked to the Ndrangheta, and convicted of sexual offenses.
