(ANSA) – DESIO, 02 DEC – Five people were arrested by the carabinieri for drug dealing and possession of 450 kg of hashish, today in Desio (Monza), following the theft of 4 quintals of drugs from the operator of a shop, by one of his collaborators.
The 36-year-old woman from Saronno (Varese), according to what emerged from the investigations, was deceived by a 45-year-old resident in the Milanese hinterland, who had the task of keeping the drug in a box of a condominium in Cesano Maderno (Monza). With the help of two other acquaintances (also arrested), at the beginning of April the drug dealer simulated a theft inside the garage, taking drugs, then hiding in an apartment. When the 36-year-old sent his collaborator to verify the fake theft, he found himself in front of the carabinieri, called by the building’s doorman.
The military, suspicious of the strong smell of hashish coming from the box, decided to search the 45-year-old’s home, finding 80 kg of hashish inside. Thanks to the analysis of the video surveillance images of the area, as well as through the chat messages found in the man’s smartphone, the carabinieri traced back to the theft and drug dealing, as well as the seizure of drugs. A 38-year-old from Senago (Monza), also involved in the network, ended up in handcuffs. (HANDLE).
