On the territory of the commune of Cheremkha in Poland last night, Belarusian border guards with lasers and stroboscopes blinded Polish police officers who were trying to stop the breakthrough of migrants across the border. This was reported by the press service of the Podlaskie police in Twitter.

“In the evening, the policemen who tried to prevent migrants from crossing the border between Opaka and Vulka Terekhovskaya were blinded by Belarusian officers with stroboscopes and lasers,” the police said in a statement.

According to the police spokesman Tomas Krupa, the attempted breakthrough of the migrants was recorded at about 19:00. About 80 police officers, as well as border guards and soldiers were involved in guarding the border.

At the same time, the Polish border service noted that only 46 attempts to illegally cross the border from Belarus to Poland were recorded over the past 24 hours. In addition, nine people were expelled from the territory of Poland.

In November, Poland recorded about nine thousand attempts to illegally cross the border by migrants from Belarus.

Border situation

On November 27, a group of over 100 migrants from Belarus tried to break through to Poland. During the attack, the borders of the Polish military were blinded with lasers and a searchlight. Two Polish soldiers were slightly injured.

In addition, it became known that the Ukrainians helped “Lukashenka’s migrants” to penetrate into Poland. The Ukrainians were detained near the village of Vysoky Most.

On November 26, in Polish Wenjin, foreigners staged a riot and wanted to leave the closed refugee center by force.

On November 24, a group of desperate refugees decided to independently proceed to the territory of Poland. This time, the Polish security forces met the refugees with automatic fires.

How it all started

Belarus arranged a “migration terror” for Poland, directing the flows of refugees to the border of the European Union. For example, on November 8, a large column of migrants from Belarus moved to the border with Poland. They were accompanied by Belarusian security officials in military uniform and with weapons, some of them with service dogs. The State Border Service of Belarus said that they were doing this allegedly because of the indifference of the Polish authorities.
