Green pass: does not check customers, restaurateur fined

(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, DEC 05 – The penalties that the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Bologna have imposed on the owners of two public establishments that did not comply with the anti Covid-19 regulations amount to 6,100 euros.

In Molinella, the owner of a restaurant-pizzeria was fined for failing to check the Green pass for two customers who, according to what was later ascertained, did not have one. The two were still eating a pizza inside the restaurant, in contrast to the legislation that provides for the possession of the green certificate for consumption at the table, if indoors. The sanction of 400 euros has been applied for both the restaurateur and the two customers.

In Castel San Pietro, on the other hand, the owner of a bar was fined because he did not have a Green pass and because he employed an illegal worker, completely without a contract.

For the bartender, in addition to a total fine of 4,900 euros, the suspension of the entrepreneurial activity was also triggered.

The checks were carried out by the carabinieri together with the staff of the Territorial Labor Inspectorate of Bologna.
