(ANSA) – MILAN, DECEMBER 06 – An 82-year-old man was attacked by 2 people who had been asked to lower their voices and wear a mask while they were aboard a carriage of the Milan subway. It happened shortly after 7am yesterday inside a train along the red line.
According to what was reconstructed by the police, a 27-year-old and a minor went up visibly drunk and with a bottle of amaro. The pensioner, annoyed by their harassing way of speaking and the lowered mask, asked to moderate the volume and cover their mouths. At that point the two hit him in the head with the bottle, causing him a head injury and a fracture of a bone in his forehead.
The agents managed to stop the attackers at the Pasteur stop, arresting the 27-year-old for serious personal injury and denouncing the minor for complicity. The elderly man was treated on the spot and transported to the Fatebenefratelli hospital.
