Income: 91 foreigners reported by the Gdf of Trapani

(ANSA) – CASTELVETRANO, 07 DEC – Ninety-one foreigners, mainly of Nigerian and Ghanaian nationality, between 2020 and 2021 illegally obtained access to citizenship income by falsely certifying that they have been resident in Italy for at least ten years. This is what emerged from investigations by the financial police of Trapani, with the collaboration of the provincial headquarters of the INPS, which denounced the suspects for fraud to the state. The questions that ended up under the ‘lighthouse’ of the yellow flames, at the center of the ‘Beatrix’ operation, had all been presented in the municipality of Castelvetrano. The total amount of the benefit illegally received would be approximately 300,000 euros. The financiers, to block the tax damage, communicated the results of their investigations to INPS, which prevented another 700,000 euros from being illegally pocketed in the coming months by the 91 investigated (ANSA).
