They don’t make him work “illegally”, for revenge he sets fire to cars

(ANSA) – CALTANISSETTA, 20 DEC – He would have liked to work illegally so as not to lose citizenship income, but when the owner of a reception room refused, he set fire to his car in the name of the company. A 35-year-old who last night set fire to a Volskwagen T Cross in via Val d’Aosta in Caltanissetta was identified by the carabinieri and denounced for the crime of damage as a result of the stake.

The man, following the search by the carabinieri of the Radiomobile section, was found in the house with the clothes used for the arson attack that still smelled of petrol. According to what he himself admitted he would have acted in revenge. Around 11.30pm, the 35-year-old sprinkled the car with flammable liquid and then set it on fire. The owners of the vehicle, owners of a reception room in Caltanissetta, did not miss the scene. Shortly before the outbreak generated by the fire, he saw a young man in a red jacket run away. Soon after, the firefighters called by the residents – many of whom took to the street – arrived and put out the fire. The carabinieri, having listened to the testimonies, went to the home of the 35-year-old who had been recognized by the owners of the car. The same, following the search, during which the clothes still soaked in flammable liquid were found, admitted that he was the author of the arson attack. Apparently, after a brief trial period in the banquet hall, he was not hired and, for this reason, he would have retaliated by setting the company-owned car on fire.

The reason behind the non-recruitment would have been the man’s refusal to give up the citizen’s income and therefore the willingness on the part of the latter to work illegally.

Will that, correctly, was not indulged by the owner of the reception room. (HANDLE).
