In Trento four no vax women give birth, all hospitalized in a struggle between life and death

by Francesco De Filippo

At the Borgo Trento hospital in Verona, four no vax women affected by Covid-19 have given birth, their respective children are under observation in an extremely delicate phase. They were given birth by caesarean section, and then under anesthesia: three of them are hospitalized in semi-intensive therapy and, according to protocol, are ventilated with a helmet. The fourth, a 45-year-old woman, transferred from the Cattinata hospital in Trieste many days ago is instead in intensive care and her conditions are still critical, a struggle between life and death.

His is a particular story: he belongs to a no vax family whose members have all been infected: a few days ago his 68-year-old mother died of Covid, after a period of twenty days of hospitalization in intensive care at the same Trieste hospital of Cattinara. In the pneumo Covid ward of the Julian hospital, her husband was also treated for the same reason – Covid-19 -. The whole family, in fact, refused to be vaccinated. So also the husband of the forty-five, who is 38 years old, was infected and therefore he too had to spend a period hospitalized in Cattinara.

The conditions of her daughter, who is a teacher, had worsened extremely rapidly around 20 November and had therefore previously been transferred to Verona, where she had obviously arrived in red code. She had been taken to the hospital in Trieste for severe pneumonia and for the strong repercussions due to hypoxemia. The woman, who already has a daughter, was responding less and less to treatment and before being transferred she had been found to have kidney failure as well as an infection. The transfer to the city of Verona had been decided because in this way it could be submitted to the Ecmo: a similar case had already been treated in Verona.

Now she has given birth to a baby girl but extremely prematurely, just 27 weeks. The newborn, therefore, although she would breathe alone and would not be intubated, weighs only about a kilo.
