(ANSA) – NAPLES, DEC 23 – Consumption of “street food” limited from today in Naples due to the entry into force of the ordinance of the president of the regional council VIncenzo De Luca, taken at 11, which prohibits the consumption of food and drinks in the spaces in front of bars and catering establishments and, in general, in public places.

In Via Toledo some of the many places that sell pizza by the slice, sandwiches, ice cream and sweets have withdrawn the trestle tables and stools, where their products could be consumed. Others have kept them, in the uncertainty about the interpretation of the provision of the Governor of the Region, which instead allows consumption “at outdoor tables”.

In the nearby Galleria Umberto I some very young people take away and bite into a slice of pizza while walking. Their behavior does not appear censurable to a couple of Local Police officers.

In via Chiaia, the. outdoor consumption is limited to the tables. The ordinance n. 28 of 19 December also reiterates the obligation to wear masks even outdoors in non-isolated places and in any crowded situation, which has been in force in Campania for months. An obligation, the latter, on average observed by passers-by in Christmas shopping. (HANDLE).
