The attackers had surrounded two boys and then two others, threatening them with a knife. Two of the victims had been taken forty euros while the other two, who at that time had no money, had been let go after being searched.

The carabinieri, thanks to the testimonies of the victims and some present and the analysis of the videos of the video surveillance systems in the area, managed to identify the robbers.
