The most powerful prayers for Christmas
The main prayer of Christmas in the Orthodox Church is feast troparion, which dates back to the 4th century. It is sung during the Christmas service and a few days later – until January 13th. It is performed several times during the Christmas service.
This text speaks of knowledge of God by man… The paths to this knowledge can be different – including through the scientific study of the stars, as happened with the Magi. And the naming of Christ “the Sun of righteousness” indicates the savior as the source of life and light, purity and righteousness:
Thy Christmas, Christ our God, has illuminated the world with the light of knowledge, for through it those who serve as the stars were taught to worship You, the Sun of righteousness, and to know You, from the height of the Ascending Luminary. Lord, glory to Thee!
On Christmas days, a special text is also performed in churches – “Today the Virgin gives birth to the Essential“… It was written at the beginning of the 6th century.
The Virgin in this day gives birth to the Super-Substantial, and the earth brings a cave to the Inaccessible; Angels with the shepherds glorify, the Magi travel with the star, for for our sake a young Child, the Eternal God, was born.
Also on Christmas Day, you can pray for a successful year for yourself, for example, marriage or good luck.

You are the one who filled the fruit of your womb with love.
I, the servant of God (my name), pray you now for help.
Please, give me mutual and sincere love.

so that I can raise children in happiness and joy.

Christmas prayer to the Guardian Angel for children
“Angel of God, my holy guardian, given to me by God for keeping. I earnestly pray to you, you enlighten me this day, and save me from all evil, instruct me to a good deed, and direct me to the path of salvation. Amen“.
