(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 10 JAN – The CT scan carried out on the woman’s body found in recent days in a grove of Trieste as part of the investigations into the disappearance of Liliana Resinovic has not solved the enigma of the identity of the corpse, nor above all has identified the causes of death. This was announced by the Chief Prosecutor of Trieste, Antonio De Nicolo in a statement specifying that the examination was completed last Saturday, as announced.
Instead, the fact that there is a “high probability” that it is the missing woman is confirmed but, as for the causes of death, it will be necessary to wait for the result of the autopsy, which will be performed tomorrow.
The Prosecutor also made it known that as part of the investigations, conducted by the Trieste mobile squad and coordinated by the prosecutor Maddalena Chergia, today the forensic police will examine all the objects that have been found on the woman’s body. Investigators hope that useful elements for understanding what happened may emerge from this examination. (HANDLE).
