(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 11 JAN – Today in Fvg 916 new infections were detected on 9,026 molecular swabs (10.15%). 25,739 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 3,271 cases (12.71%) were detected. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 37, while there are 353 patients in other departments. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. Regarding the spread of the virus among the population, the age group most affected is 50-59 years (20.13%).
Today there are 9 deaths. There are a total of 4,295 deaths, of which 1,041 in Trieste, 2,100 in Udine, 797 in Pordenone and 357 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 144,611, the clinically healed 570, the people in isolation are 37,470. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Fvg, 187,336 people have been positive, of which 44,195 in Trieste, 77,854 in Udine, 40,944 in Pordenone, 21,500 in Gorizia and 2,843 from outside the region.
As part of the reorganization of the departments, from tomorrow the beds of the surgical hospitalization of the San Polo Hospital in Monfalcone will undergo a redistribution between the Orthopedics Ward, the Surgical Ward, and the Emergency Department. From today, the Intensive Care of the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Gorizia will be expanded by 4 Covid beds.
Today, at the Cattinara Hospital, ASUGI professionals talked about vaccinations in a protected environment, anti-covid vaccinations carried out safely, with the presence of the anesthetist and a dedicated team, on users exposed to the risk of developing adverse reactions, later the administration of the vaccine. The group carried out more than 800 vaccinations of which 140 third doses and 300 allergy visits.
