(ANSA) – ANCONA, 12 JAN – There are 2,397 covid positives detected in the last 24 hours in the Marche region, of which 547 with symptoms. The incidence rate continues to rise, reaching 890.63 per 100 thousand inhabitants (yesterday the new cases were 1,475 ie the incidence rate 874.65). The new cases represent a positivity of 19.1% on 12,509 swabs of the screening diagnostic path (16,936 total swabs, to which 8,277 tests per antigen pathway screening with 3,554 positives are added). The province of Ancona continues to fill up with 1,127 cases, followed by that of Ascoli Piceno with 397, Pesaro Urbino with 276, Macerata with 264, Fermo with 206 and 123 cases outside the region.
The infection is confirmed to be more widespread in the age groups 25-44 years with 768 cases and 45-59 years with 602. There are 231 cases between 19-24 years old. Overall, the age groups between zero and 18 have 416 cases (183 in the 14-18 age group, 99 in the 6-10 year old). There are 53 positives recorded in the school / training setting, 16 contacts in the living / social environment.
