Amazonia, 12 hours with the father on his shoulders to vaccinate him

Quirinale, Roberto Nobili:

Six hours of walking in the Brazilian jungle with the father on his shoulders, and another six to return to his village: this is the feat attributed to Tawy Zoé, a young indigenous, to allow his parent to get vaccinated with the first dose against Covid, as told by doctor Erik Jennings. Who on his Instagram profile has posted a photo of father and son who is traveling around the world. “It is the most significant shot of 2021,” wrote Jennings, who released the photo of Tawi Zoé and her father Wahu on January 2. According to BBC World, the area in which the two live is the state of Pará, in the north of Brazil, in a forest area considered highly protected for its ecological value. Jennings explained to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo that he was involved in vaccinating the area’s population. “2022 has arrived and no cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the Zoé population,” added the doctor on Instagram.
