(ANSA) – PESCARA, 17 JAN – He received the citizenship income and sold drugs with a real drug depot at home, 45 kilos of marijuana for a commercial value of over half a million euros: the protagonist of the story is a man from Montesilvano placed under house arrest as part of the “Drug market” operation, carried out by the Pescara Guardia di Finanza, under the coordination of Colonel Antonio Caputo.
The searches by the military made it possible to discover a real warehouse of marijuana, hidden in the various nooks and crannies of the house inside numerous bags. The financiers have taken steps to dismantle the home drug depot, seizing a total of about 45 kg of marijuana which would have turned into over 135,000 joints on the market, yielding an illicit treasure of at least 500,000 euros. The man was reported for drug trafficking to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which ordered the precautionary measure of house arrest against him, validating the searches and seizure. For the trafficker, in addition to the handcuffs, the revocation of the economic subsidy of the citizenship income, unduly received, was triggered. (HANDLE).
