Drugs: gang war, 27 arrests in Rome

(ANSA) – ROME, JAN 18 – Two alleged criminal organizations at war with each other in Rome to grab drug dealing and market places. This morning they were dismantled by the carabinieri of the provincial command who carried out an order issued by the investigating judge at the request of the prosecutors of the district anti-mafia directorate against 27 people belonging to two Italian-Albanian groups. According to what was ascertained by the Carabinieri of Frascati, the head of one of the associations is linked to Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as Diabolik, killed in Rome in August 2019.

Against the arrested, the accusations, for various reasons, are of association aimed at drug trafficking aggravated by the mafia method, sale and possession for the purpose of trafficking, extortion, damage following fire, possession and carrying in a public place of weapons from fire.
